Google have today released a brand new logo. The previous Google logo and typeface have been a long established and important brand in the tech world. While the logo is still the word Google, their iconic serif font has been substituted for a sans-serif font.The logo and it’s font have subtly changed since the company was born in 1998. However this is possibly the most substantial change it has made since it’s first change.

This new look comes just one month after a major internal restructuring at Google. Things are changing quickly at Google. They announced their new parent company “Alphabet” a number of weeks ago, and this new logo shares similarities with Alphabet’s logo. Google announced the change in a video released just today, check it out below.
